NAFEO Needs YOU to Volunteer with AARP Foundation Tax-Aide

You can help your college, university, or alma mater win $20,000 by signing up more Tax-Aide Volunteers than any other HBCU or PBI between September 15 and November 15, 2015!

Who Can Volunteer and What Are the Benefits? 

Volunteers can include college students, faculty, staff, accounting and finance professionals, and general supporters of HBCUs or PBIs in ALL disciplines who can benefit by:

  • Gaining experience with tax preparation and other volunteer roles
  • Earning community service hours and/or continuing education units (CEUs)

How Can YOU Make a Difference as a Tax-Aide Volunteer?  

  • Preventing predatory lending, maximizing tax benefits and earned income tax credits to those who need it most
  • Ensuring that a tax return is completed as part of preparing for the FAFSA® (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
